Heritage Walking Tours
The City of Regina has created a guidebook for walking tours in Regina. Of the 8 tours in this booklet, 3 are tours of the Warehouse District.
Tour A takes you through the East side of the Warehouse District. This tour begins at the General Motors of Canada Assembly Plant on 8th Avenue and ends at the Regina Light and Power Company on Dewdney Avenue. This tour takes approximately 2 hours and covers a distance of 1.4 kilometres.
Tour B focuses on the central portion of the Warehouse District. It begins at the Crane Ltd. Building on Broad Street and comes to a close at the E.B. Gass & Sons Ltd./Peart Bros. Building on Dewdney Avenue. This tour takes approximately two hours and covers a distance of 1.5 kilometres.
Tour C brings you to the western side of the Warehouse District. It begins at Cameron & Heap Wholesale Grocery and ends at Promislow’s Wholesale (both located on Dewdney Avenue. This tour takes approximately two hours and covers a distance of 1.3 kilometres.
